If it has a manual transmission you probably can. Check with your dealer to confirm and DO NOT take their word for it. Have them show you in the factory literature.

from the Ranger Product Manager and the Owners Guide found on fleet.ford.com - Yes. 4wd only. put transfer case dial in 2wd, push ignition button to release shifter and place in neutral. Use steering wheel buttons to operate info center to place vehicle in "neutral tow mode", and turn ignition off. That's why I ordered one. from Sanderson Ford in Glendale, AZ.

Great, I have a 2017 Ford Focus automatic I tow 4 down . I want to move up to a truck. Ford Ranger sounds like the way to go for me.

Following the info above putting the Ranger in neutral tow mode also unlock the steering wheel? I have a push bottom start with no key?

just pulled out the owners manual for my 2019 4x4 ranger. indeed, specific directions regarding putting the transfer case in neutral, so YES you can flat tow this truck..

the experts and owners manual say you can but i have gone threw 2 transmissions within 7000 miles towing behind my motor home doing everything by the book. All this within the first 7 months.
