where is the alternative fuse located

You should have a box under the hood and one under the steering wheel. Sorry to be brief but you did not give to much info on exactly what you are working with.

do you mean alternator? There is no fuse, just a fusable link.

Where is the alternator fuse on a 99 grand Marquis located my car batt was dieing after I changed my possitive post cause of corrosion but my batt kept dieing so I had it charged at a store but my car will not crank wen I turn the key all I get is a clicking sound coming from the fuse box located behind the battery

There could be a fuseable link inside the positive wire (not the fat one), or a bad connection. Also, the clicking is sign of a dead battery, sure the new one is charged?
