92 bronco: how do i take off the whole hub assembely?

Asked by zrxdude Aug 11, 2013 at 04:31 PM about the 1992 Ford Bronco

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i have taken out the locker, the axle nuts, and removed the outer bearing so i could pull the whole hub assembely off. but when i went to slide it off it seems to be catching on something? now i have done this before to change the bearings and its never stuck like this. almost seems like the inner bearing is stuck on the axle shaft?
any suggestions?

Sorry, no suggestions. I've seen many of those hub and half- shaft assemblies replaced though. Not cheap as I recall.
