Does 2019 countryman mini cooper all wheel drive with automatic transmissons require premium fuel? What is the consequences of using the regular grade fuel warranty wise?

Question type: General

Wow! I have read some answers on the subject matter that mini coopers take premium fuel. I am sorry to say that I did not do my home work on this and feel terrible that I just bought this car in Spain where premium fuel is sky high not just 20 cents more a gallon like the States. I am able to purchase regular grade  gas on a Military base but not premium. The dealer tells me of course you can put regular grade in the car, but they would say that right?. Bottom line is if I do burn regular grade gas what will that do the my 50000 mile warranty. I have 6 more months in Spain before shipping the car back to the states.

I doubt using regular will affect your warranty but the engine power may be down some. If the engine pings you need to go back to premium.
