Backseat Floor board of 2019 Nissan Altima gets hot when car is on and idle. I am going to take it back to the dealership but has anyone else experienced this?

Question type: General

Why does the backseat floorboard of my car
get hot when the car is parked and on?

1 Answer

Look directly under the hot spot and see what is there. I am guessing the exhaust pipe is close to the floor. The dealer will probably say it is normal but you can get heat shield material and install it to insulate against the heat.
