how many coil packs does a 2000 mercury sable have?

there is a possibility that there are six...maybe just one honker in the middle`
that there's a coil and spark plug tube together in one goodie...the other looks like a distributor with no moving parts~
There is only one coil pack with 6 posts. Just bought the car for $120? I'd take a good look at the trans and head gaskets before I sunk any real money into it.
That's what I thought from pics of parts from AutoZone. Everything else is fine from what I understand. My son's friend found it for me. My son said if it's worse than that, he'll fix it. Apparently the previous owner got new car and got tired of paying tickets on this one. He never drove it anymore and didn't bother to license it again. Small town and bored law enforcement. Lol!
