Have you changed the thermostat ? Sometimes it's as simple as replacing it. If you have a vehicle that uses dex cool in the rad. it has been known to coagulate and clog heater cores. Sometimes you can access the hoses to the heater core and simply disconnect both, putting vice grip pliers on hoses to prevent leaks , and flush out the heater core with a garden hose.If in a cold climate, hook a garden hose to the hot water tank valve in your house and flush the heater core in vehicle with hot water. Also, check the coolant level in your radiator when veh. is cold. If it is low, you have a leak in the cooling system. That will cause a no heat scenario too.
