Leaking fluid in center toward trunk
6 Answers
I would suspect the rear differential is leaking. This is commonly referred to as "the pumpkin". Check where the driveshaft meets the differential. There's a seal there that can wear and allow the differential fluid to start leaking out. Hope that helps! Jim
Don't run the diff low on oil or you will ruin the differential/wheel bearings.

I can't think of any source of oil inside the car. Look above that plug!

Maybe something spilled in the trunk? So the differential is not wet? Jim
