98 grand mercury

Asked by Susan Dec 14, 2016 at 06:11 PM about the 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Okay so we are having problems with our 98 grand
mercury . it will start up but it wont stay started.
Dies right after it starts. But onve it starts if i put
my foot on the gas and help it literraly until it
warms up it will stay on by itself but it takes a good
20 mins. It shakes and just doesnt sound like fuel
is getting to the system. We just recently changed
the spark plugs and coil packs. We tested the fuel
injectors and at home test with the screw driver.
But we are low on money and cant contiune to take
guesses and i fill like its going to kick the bucket
soon if we dont figure out whats wrong with it.
Please help
