Asked by Tbhorbach Apr 12, 2020 at 11:17 AM about the 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe

Question type: General

Can someone please help me out with
a really dumb question, I know the
answers but I just can't get out of my
brain..( I'm really getting tired of this
old age crap..lol) any assistance would
be deeply appreciated. These
abbreviations are for the Chevy
Suburban and the Chevy Tahoe.
#1, LS, #2, LT, #3,LTZ #4,1LT #5, First
letter is a Z, second letter maybe an
Tor7, and I can't read my own
writing.Does any of the
letters/numbers have anything to do
with the performance or better the
vehicle??
Any help would be greatly appreciated
thank you all in advance for taking your
time in helping me in this matter..

Those are trim levels, go here to look.https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/2019-Chevrolet- Tahoe-Trims-c27954, the higher the trim level the more options and the more expensive.https://www.chevrolet.com/suvs/previous-year/tahoe

I can help with some of the abbreviations. LS=Luxury Sport, LT=Luxury Touring. LS models are a lower end vehicle. LTZ is the higher end. Not sure what the Z stands for! The numbers indicate trim levels within the submodels. I believe the higher the number the higher level of bells and whistles. Hope that helps and Happy Easter to you and yours as well!! Jim

Look in your glove box, you should find a code label in there, these are the options on your vehicle. GM Code definitions can be found online. The Z is just one of the codes in there, the trim model built for off road (mine is a Z71 : CHASSIS PACKAGE, OFF-ROAD). www.angelfire.com/ny2/96transam/rpocodes.html
