Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a request for Lincoln Continental Mark VI from 1982 (V8 5.0). Can you
advise me which oils to choose for this model? Engine, transmission and rear
bridge. I really care about the time, thanks for the answers.

The Owner's Manual says 10W30 for summer and most winter conditions. For later 302 engines, the recommendation changed to 5W30 conventional oil. You can also use the same grade of synthetic oil. My brother had an 86 351W and he ran Castol Symtech 5W50 full synthetic. The engine was PERFECT when the body broke at 550,000 miles.
