If memory serves me should be four arrows marked 1 thru 4 look for a single stamped line on the gear that corresponds to one on the head, the crank has a small triangle on the gear and the oil pump should have identical marks. NOTICE: this engine has been identified as INTERFERANCE caution should be used prior to attempting to start engine, several slow hand rotations will let you see if you have internal contact. If the engine stops at any point during hand rotation DO NOT FORCE PAST THAT POINT! Questions feel free to contact me.

Total time start to finish 4.5 hrs by hand, parts needed timing belt kit, belt, tentioner, and Water pump inspect seals crank, and cam, replace if leaking(oil contamination will shorten belt life) one gallon antifreeze,a wrench set 8thru19 socket and rachet set 8 thru 19 a half inch breaker bar 19mm half inch drive.
But my truck has way more parts than that like.a chain and more I was wondering what mark do I set the crankshaft pull on? Lmk plz thank u
