how to reset check engine light

resetting check engine light

1 Answer

Hi sekhonz! There are three possibilities here. If you haven't disconnected the battery try that first. In some vehicles that will reset the check engine light. If that doesn't work there may be a sequence you perform, probably with the ignition, that will do the trick. Or your truck may require a dealer and/or diagnostic equipment for a reset. If disconnecting the battery doesn't work, drop a dime to your local Mazda dealer's service manager and see what's involved. Good luck!
