engine bucks under load at low rpm

I have a 1998 mazda b4000 std transmission,130000 miles,well maintained.the past 3 years,it has bucked if I lug
it at low rpms..was fine for the first 5-6 years..bucks with hi octane as well.any clues?

i have to agree, plugs and wires should be the first thing on your list to check.

make sure your gap is correct on the plugs. Due a simple tune up. If still a problem, I would look at the coil or spark control module. Have the timing checked and change the fuel filter.
