I can't turn on the reading lights

I am unable to touch the reading light panel and turn them on.  I know they
work because they illuminate automatically when I start the car but I cannot get
them to turn on when I touch the panel.  I also note the vanity mirror lights don't
illuminate when I flip them open.  Thoughts?  Very frustrating.  New vehicle.

I did talk to the dealer and they said I would need to bring it in to diagnose the issue. Unfortunately, I am in another state with no Jaguar/Land Rover Dealer. Just was looking to see if anyone had a similar issue or maybe an idea of what might be going on given both the vanity lights don't come on and I cannot manually turn on reading or dome light.
