1990 grand marquis wont start

OK so my girls father just gave us this car two
weeks ago. Was running fine, then all of a sudden
stalled and wouldn't start. It starts when it wants
to. Not sure what the problem is. Can anyone help

Wants to go back home//anyway/you got the car as a gift.spend 150 and get it all tuned up./needs it bad anyway.she will run well after that
