Its obvious that you're EGR is opening when it shouldn't be making the mix so lean its not able to run. You must get the code first when its there and its probably a bad valve opening during acceleration not during coasting as it should.

Before you know exactly which codes you have NOTHING IS CERTAIN EVER. Never plugs and somethings.you wouldn't believe how unrelated to codes are. Also EGRs usually just get dirty and don't go bad.

One thing here is that the EGR is NOT BAD since it opens. Bad would be NOT opening maybe. Find whatever in the system is causing the EGR to signal it to Open. That's where your problem is. Most EGRs replaced are just fine and maybe stuck with carbon which needs to be cleaned only.

Hey I just pulled the EGR plug electrical plug and taped it off until I figured out what to do then you can drive without stalling out.

It's better to have a bad egr than none. Just keep it in it's not expensive and when I changed mine it took not even 5 minutes

It could be your altenator connector Idk the name for that wire it connects altenator to neg of battery

I guarantee you the EGR is just fine or it wouldn't open at all. ECU is getting a bad signal from another component telling it to open when it never should. Relacing it will do Nothing but cost you and your back to beginning.
