WHAT DO I INSTALL IN MY 03 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE GS BEFORE I GET A TURBOCHARGER

I have a 03 Mitsubishi Eclipse Gs and i want to get a turbo charger. What do i need to install in my STOCK eclipse before i finally install the turbocharger? If you could give me a good website that would sell stuff like that would be great....thanks

bottom line, don't do it. the stock eclipse engine cant handle a turbo with any significant boost. if you really feel so inclined to proceed on with your project then send me a message and i can tell you anything you need to know about it.

dev is right your engine cannot withstand the extra force because it is a SOHC a turbo will blow your engine.. on the other hand a DOHC engine could handle it. your best bet is getting a 4g63 2.0 DOHC, slap a turbo on there no problem. mitsubishi stopped putting stock turbos on the 2 generation 1999 gsx. and also stopped the AWD models so sad
Hey Dev, what size do u suggest? I got a 08 eclipse. Mivec 2.4 L. Im not tring to make it a drag car. Just want alittle more power.
That's not true at all I put a turbo kit on my 2003 gs and didn't have any trouble bought the entire kit for $409
I want to know about my 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse spyder, I want to add a turbo but don’t know which exact turbo to add on to the engine, I ain’t trying to race or maybe a little but my friend has the same car and he says his hit 212 not sure if I can believe it tho, plz I want to know what turbo to buy for my 6 cylinder
