A rental car would not be my first choice but then again I would not by any Hyundai.

It is perfectly fine to buy a rental especially one with LOW mileage. Example: Hertz is selling like New 2020 cars for cheap with low mileage because the company is in bankruptcy proceedings and they need to raise cash fast. Some of these cars have under 10k miles and are great deals.
