Battery won't stay charged

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My battery won't stay charged. Have had the
alternator and starter tested and both are fine.
Bought a new battery because it died on me when
parked and thought it was the problem. Talked to
the previous owner and said he 1st started having
the problem when he put a new radio in. The radio
was taken out. What could cause my battery to not
stay charged?

Inspect the wires for a bad ground or where two wires have been connected on purpose. It sounds like you have power feeding through the system.
I'm having same issues an it seems to have all started when I replaced my radio . All my lights stay on an flicker on the dash where the check engine light is . My door ajar light is always on . Now when I'm in drive my neutral flashes on an off an it seems to be stuck in third. Took it to the tranny shop said it was shot an 2300.00 to rebuild it well I wanted a second opinion took it to another well known tranny shop said my tranny was fine showed me a relay switch that was croded with rust that wasn't the problem cas it still does it . Battery kept dying on me so I bought another one yesterday cas it wouldn't hold a charge even after recharging it .This is a nightmare I've pulled fuses tested fuses pulled out the radio had alternator and starter rebuild . I have a oil leak that is getting in the alternator from a bad gasket that I'm having replaced . This thing is a possessed money pit someone please please help
