If fuse for horn is not blown and its still not working what do I check?

Asked by jrey5682 Dec 10, 2012 at 05:42 PM about the 2001 Mitsubishi Galant

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My clicker for car unlocks and locks but my first indication that something was wrong was when it didn't
"beep" when locked.  Then I tried my horn and that isn't working.  I pulled the fuse and its still good.  What do I
check now?

The beep when locked and the button on the steering wheel are two different sources of power. I would say to check the ground connection to the horn. While your are in there, check it with a meter to see if it's getting power.
