I am thinking of buying a 1999 Eclipse but when it's idling for about 2 minutes it de-revvs down to where it seems to almost stall out. What could it be and should I buy it?

It may need a tune up or the idle control could be bad. As far as "worth it" you don't give any way to evaluate that. Price and condition are the key factors. Make sure it passes smog inspection in your state before paying a dime.
