That's what I was hoping. Someone at Jiffy Lube told me it was in the tank and they were "positive", but I thought I had seen it underneath almost directly below the cab. I know it is in the tank in some Nissan's but didn't think it was in mine. Strangely, I can't seem to get a straight answer anywhere on the Internet either. Thank you.

not all dealerships will rip you off. They are expensive, but they are not there to rip you off. The places that do are SOME of the chain auto centers who are mostly tire shops or muffler shops who now claim to do it all. They are not qualified in most cases and charge the same prices a highly qualified mechanic or dealership does. In many cases dealerships are cheaper because they have the test equipment and tools to fix the car faster than some guy who works at xyz tire or abc muffler shop and does major repairs- (or tries). Its like anything else---doctors, lawyers, whatever---, find someone you like and can trust and then stick with them.
