New alternator now no air conditioner!

I have a 2004 Nissan Maxima 3.5, took to
mechanic to install a new alternator. Now the
air conditioner is not working! Please help!

Would that make it blow hot air? I’m so frustrated....I’ve spent over $1000 the past week on the car. New pads, rotors, alternator and now finally get it back and the air is broke.
