Problems with a 2004 Platnum Edition Pathfinder

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
So I've had this car for almost 6 years now and there are now various problems with it. I used to get 224 miles per full tank of gas. Now its only giving me 198. Also the rear suspension doesn't seem to be working quite well. Whenever I take a corner I can feel the back of the car go light. This problem is even worse when there isn't alot of gas in the tank. Also whenever hit the slightest bumps in the road the whole car shakes like crazy. What should I do?

Did anyone ever answer your question? Did you have the rubber bushings in the rear suspension and sway bars checked? When these go, the rear end will swing all over the place. especially after encountering small bumps or making minor steering corrections.
Assuming you've replaced the shock absorbers by now (I just replaced the original shocks in my Isuzu Rodeo with some new KYB gas adjust models and the care rides better than it did when it was new. Who knew?

Holy smokes, that doesn't seem right for your gas mileage. I have 103,000 miles on mine, bought new, and I still get close to 300 miles on a tank. Did you take your vehicle in for the recall? While the dealer is checking it out, you can tell them that and they'll check all your suspension parts while it's in the air.
find someone that upgraded there stock titan suspension, buy that and put it up in there, people do it with frontiers, dont think pathfinder suspension is any different, do quote me on that tho, if if does work it gives you a pretty nice lift
