Car not accelerating.

So Im posting this for my husband. He drives a
2004 nissan sentra. Hasnt been having any
problems accept a little bit of sputtering on startup
occassionally. Usually after weather change.
Yesterday the car got towed and when I picked it
up for him, every dash light was on. Battery, ebrake,  
etc. But the car was driving fine. I mentioned it to
him and that seemed to correct itself thismorning
when he drove it to work. He came home for his
break and left to go back to work but midway there
it suddenly lost accelleration. As he told me, he is
pushing the pedal all the way and it is only going
10mph. Any suggestions on what to be suspicious
of?

You lost the chain of control when it went out of your possession. Anything could have happened even tampering or taking spare parts. Inspect the vehicle for loose connections. Another thing. Relaying information about a problem that isn't yours displaces you 2 degress away from the situation. No offense. You cannot personally describe the problem and you only think you know but you don't. Get your husband to post and dialogue his way through the problem or just take it to a shop.
