RX300 has fluid output from the upper fitting on the transmission into the upper fitting on the radiator (where the cooler resides), with flow coming out of the bottom fitting and to the lower fitting on the transmission housing.

It is probably not a hose that broke. The transmission uses steel tubes that run to the radiator for cooling. The tubes rust and leak after 14 years of service.
