how to tell if my R300 is AWD

I have a 2001 RX300 and I was told it was all wheel drive.  My son says it's front wheel drive.  How can I really know.???

When looking at the VIN on the dashboard, if the 4th digit is an "H" then yours is AWD. This is the method used by CalTrans when travel is restricted to vehicles with chains, snow tires or AWD. This is valid for all vehicles.

My rx300 just started sending error codes while on my return trip home the code reader says that piston #1&2 are miss firing but the car is still running well so I reset the codes and they piped back up immediately I have a 4 hr drive till I get home Any suggestions recommendations tips tricks ideas I’m open to all
