I have a 2002 Nissan sentra while driving the car I felt a big jerk. After stopping to check car oil because it has a small leak i noticed that when I pulled the dipstick out of oil it was steaming.

Was the engine oil a tan milkey color?

I just changed the oil I put full synthetic 10w 30 for high mileage. So it was a light color but it did not look milky. It looked like it was little bubbles of burnt oil not a lot of them just a couple on the dip stick.The car has not jerked like that again but oil still looks hot when I check it.

Engine oil looked to be bubbling due to being so hot. Car is not overheatng the heater and a/c work fine
