I have a 94 ES300 my igniter keeps going out. I had a shop run a scan on it they told me it was the iginter I replace that part 3 times now. can anyone tell me what could make my iginter keep going out?

hmm... I'm guessing there is a change of words somewhere here... Cause in the US and igniter plug is used on turbine and jet engines... In which case I'm hoping you're talking about a spark plug. In which case did you just replace 3 of them in total or have you replaced the set of the 3 times???

no the igniter is the part that switches the coils on and off, if the igniter was bad the car wouldn't run

I don't know what code its giving I had the engine scan at a shop. they told me it was just the igniter.

The 94 ES300 does not have a distributer. I did fix the problem with my car two years ago it was the ECU not the iginter.
