Asked by lexusfolks May 31, 2015 at 08:30 PM about the 1995 Lexus ES

Question type: General

Problem doesn't appear to be mechanical. Intermittent problems with transmission shifting
properly.Doesn't  appear to occur during warm or hot weather. Is there a sensor
controlling that? If so,what is it?

I know a Lexus finatic, and he says they have a common problem with a short in the wires that run thru the truck on the car causing the transmissions to fail. He buys them cheap and fixes them for 10.00 and all it is is a wire that shorts out from opening and closing the trunk

How do we contact the guy who buys the wires? Thanks. Lexusfolks
