Engine light came on the code said it was something to do with the gas cap

What would causes light to come on because code
said gas cap how can I fix it

99% of the time this means that your evaporative emissions system has detected a small leak. Make sure your gas cap is tight and also try cleaning the o-ring on the gas cap before reinstalling.

On my2007 Lexus es350 I was told today that it was a communicate problem but the young man reset it it off for now
