I have a 1993 lexus gs300 the check engine light and vsc light is on.We disconnected the battery cable and put it back on the lights went off but it runs like it's missing and a short while later the lights were back on. How can I fix this problem?

VSC means Vehicle Stability Control. It has nothing to do whatsoever with it running rough. When a Wheel speed sensor detects that any wheel is not spinning at the rpm it should be for the speed you are going the VSC kicks in..that should re-set its self after a while. But to find out why the CEL Check Engine is on, since you have a 1993 without OBDII you really need a mechanic
