My brakes started making a grinding noise. What does that mean? And who can fix it?

Your pads are worn out. The 'grinding' or screechy sound is either the sounding tabs telling you or it's too late and the rivets are already digging in to rotors. Get them done asap, the longer you wait the more expensive it's going to be. It may not be too late to have your rotors resurfaced

Oh.. who? The dealer, Sears, WalMart Auto centers, Midas, or the mechanic nearest you. Most tire shops also.
