Troubleshooting starting problem

make sure the batt. is charged and the terminals are clean and tight , have you tried a jump start ? If the headlights are nice and bright it may be a bad starter , there may be a starter relay involved , you have to see if power is getting to the starter usually you have to nearly remove it for that so you might as well replace it then .
I'm having problems with my Lexus LS400. Changed fuel pump, but won't run. Tries to start but won't fully run.
