Why won't my car start?

Asked by Reba Jun 26, 2020 at 08:51 PM about the 2000 Nissan Maxima

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

have a 2000 Maxima. My car was running when the
wires from the ignition coil connector (I think)
touched and sparked. My car died and hasn't
started back since. It turns over but it's not firing.
The fuel pump is priming when I turn the key and
all my electrical components (dash lights, radio,
ect) are coming on. Anyone have any idea what is
wrong or what I could do? Someone said i might
have fried my computer? Thanks

Check your fuses and relays, in most cases it'll blow a fuse or relay before a circuit board.

I checked all those and they're fine. I checked everything with tester light and There is no juice going to any of the coil packs. I dont know what would cause that
