2000 nissan maxima won't start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Just had the car started, shut if off for 10 minutes then now it won't start. Manual transmission, can't start it in gear or in neutral either. No clicks, but the dash lights, headlights, interior lights all turn on.

If there's no clicks, it's more likely your starter relay.
Check your clutch safety switch. They are known to pop off or go bad. Real easy to swap or bypass. Luck to you
clip a voltage meter on the STARTER BOLTS WHERE THE BATTERY LEADS GO--TRY STARTING IT--IF YOU GET 12 volts ON YOUR METER--RELAY IS WORKING OK---IT WOULD INDICATE THE STARTER COULD BE BAD--THEY ARE NOT THAT EXPENSIVE AND THEY COME WITH THE SOLYNOID ATTACHED..
THIS METER TEST WOULD ALSO PROVE THE TRANS CUT-OFF SWITCH IS ALLOWING ELECTRIC TO GET TO THE STARTER---SO ITS OK..
I have a question I have a 2000 Nissan Maxima and the cluster went haywire and when I cut the car off too and went to cut it back on it wouldn't crank what could that be
