That's the gamble u take when buying a car of that age I'm assuming it has more than 150k on the clock.more than likely they didnt know about any trans problems prior to u buying it.good luck ur gonna need it buyer beware.its new to u but that car been on the road for quite a while

I read reviews and that's the mistake I made I should have read reviews initially this dealer has done other people this way I contacted my fiance company this dealer is under investigation because many people complain about them selling cars and not servicing them so it's not just me its them you take a chance even when u buy a new car that's why u have the lemon law I know someone who bought a new car and had problems if you run a business you need to run it right it's simple as that
Everbody knows that but the federal trade commission is for business as such look it up
Your state's consumer affairs office is where you should probably go.
Odds are you bought the car as is. You would have to prove they knew the transmission was bad before you bought it which is probably impossible. Used cars have problems which is why a pre purchase inspection is wise.
When I took the car to them and they put their machine on it four transmission codes came up this dealer should inspect their cars they have sold cars too several people with transmission problem because there is a pattern of this behavior this is what make me have a case even though it was purchase as is the fact they have done this to more then one person it's a trend they know what they are doing I justed wanted to post this on cargurus because I found the dealer on here and I did not want this to happen to nobody else read the reviews for these people its seld explanatory
The transmission may or may not have shown these faults when you bought it. I hope it all works out for you. Good luck!
I had the same problem with my 07 LS460. Try this and you don’t need a new trans. Have the transmission flushed and have them add a quart of MAX trans. Fluid with transmission fluid. Good luck. It worked for me....
I have had the entire transmission replace the oil was burnt the housing needed replaced the solenoid block because it was back up which was causing the parts to grind up thanks all for input
