how do i remove the speed sensor

The speed sensor is usually located on top of the transmission. A Chilton Manual should outline this procedure for you nicely. It's simply removing a couple of bolts and a wiring harness and then replacing the part in reverse.

easy wat take air cleaner off, look by the starter with flashlight,look toward the firewall this is where it is. take the electric plug off. jack up the left side so you can take off the left front tire, look through where the steering arm is you will see it. take 10mm wrench, remove bolt, twist back and forth it comes out chan change sppedo gear and reverse procedure
