whats wrong with my car

all my dashboard lights and radio and power windows stopped working after I
had my alternator changed then I drove for 7 or 8 more miles and cut the car
off and now it won't even turn over. help me what's wrong?

It sounds to me that something wasn't installed correctly when the alternator was replace. Loose connections? Wherever this work was done, I would be on the phone with them scheduling to bring it back. Check all of the fusing as well. Something could have possibly shorted during the alternator replacement.
