Ty.. And yes using old ones isn't first choice but I'm currently homeless living at hotel with my family and at 300$ a week saving anything I can is a must I work full time but barely enough to cover the 300$ a week and paycheck only every 2 weeks so that much extra would put me behind in paying weekly this is only transportation I have and I needed break booster witch switched fine now plugs and wires cuz have a misfire and starter is oyt to unfortunately that won't switch over so figured could pop start it until could afford one but with misfire that's not working so well so cheaper or parts from other truck is my only option rate now plus the 97 is in good condition just have no title and can't figure out how to get one the original was stolen and not signed by me yet but other than not being able to get legal it's a very nice truck but your answers helped a lot ty very much

If both engines are the same size they may fit. If the engine is the 2.3 4 cylinder the older one will have 4 spark plugs and the newer one will have 8, yes 2 plugs per cylinder. Take a close look under the hood of each truck and if things look similar the wires should fit. Call a local parts store to see if the part numbers are the same for the spark plugs.

She has a 1990 model and a 1997 model. One is 4 plugs and one is 8.
