Question type: Shopping & Pricing

1973 Dodge D100 Adventurer for Sale with 130k miles asking $12,000 OBO.
TRuck spent most of its life in Arizona, only 2 to 3 years in New England.
Original 400 ci engine and 727 tranny. Passed Inspection this year.

Haven't seen truck yet, any other comments or things to look out for?
I appreciate it.  It would not be a daily driver.
Thanks

Seems awfully high and it will be a gas hog. You will be lucky to get 10 mpg. If you need a pickup why not look at much newer ones for around the same price?

Thanks. I thought so too. Although Hagerty's website values it at around $7,500 at low retail for fair condition. Over the past three years Hagerty claims the value almost tripled. I know it is a gas hog. Wife saw it and thought it was a cool old looking truck. lol

Last fall I bought a 30 year Newer F250 Lariat in 4WD that was super clean and it had 45,000 fewer miles for 5 grand more than that truck. Mine is 4x the truck that one is.

They don't want to run when it's cold, or wet, or when the Earth and Moon are not in proper alignment! In short, these were junk when they were new! I can't imagine it getting better with age! You can do much better with the kind of money you're looking to spend! Keep shopping!! Jim
