How do you reset the anti theft alarm on a 96 Nissan maxima.

We unhooked the battery cables after we
tried what a YouTube video told us to do to
disarm the alarm. And now the car won't
start

You can't you will need to bring the car to a dealer to have it done...

Remove small cap above the "P" on gear shifter. Place key in and press down to unlock gear shifter. Shift gear to "N" place key in ignition and start the car
