Question type: General

I have a 1996 Nissan Sentra that was my mother's.  I want to get it back on the
road however I cannot find the keys.  Do I contact the dealership or go to a

The dealer may be able to cut a key from the vin # bring your wallet it won't be cheap . There's probably a " chip " in the key , keep looking for her keys you may luck out .

Contact a local locksmith. The vehicle is too old for the key codes to still be on file at the Dealer. The locksmith can determine the key codes, make you new keys, and program them to the vehicle if necessary. Hope that helps! Jim
