It's actually fairly easy to disable the alarm system entirely, although there are a few draw backs. These facts took me awhile to learn, as nobody was willing to help explain the finer points of the situation. In order to deal with a non-factory alarm system, typically the Viper 300 model, you simply remove the brain(The black box on the underside of the dash) and the starter kill relay(The 5 prong relay attached somewhere along the wires to the black box.) Insert the relay back in with newly neutralized charge, and then plug the brain back in. This can disarm the system, however, in more complicated situations, such as a fouled connection somewhere that is setting the alarm off, something near impossible to trace all the way through, you can cut out the non-factory alarm system, rewire the disconnected wires from the ignition, remove the 3 security relays on the outside under the hood of the car, and remove two little fuse chips hidden in loose female ends under the wiring in the dashboard. It is sealed by duct tape, but it easily found by identifying the bulge along the wires. Remove these fuses, and you've disabled the alarm system. Note: In order to achieve full function, including start, it may be necessary to make a new connection from the ignition to the starter.
