Asked by mickeyd23 Sep 30, 2010 at 10:38 AM about the 1990 Nissan Maxima

Question type: General

I just bought a 1990 Nissan Maxima and it came with Bose speakers. They look they were standard equipment not after market. Does anyone know if This was standard on the 1990 model?

it wasn't standard, it was an option deal, if you take them out, they actually appear to be a sort of paper towel like element. They sound like crap and are quite difficult to replace. The two in the front doors are 4x6's, the two in the trunk are 6x9's.
