Electrical problems

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My van has recently been having some issues with the fuse for the av input; I've
simply been solving it by replacing the fuse every time it blows. Tonight, however,
something bigger happened. When I started my car, my turn indicator lights were both
on, even though I was not using either. When I attempted to, my right turn indicator
worked, but my left did not. My hazards did not work as well. When I pulled into my
driveway maybe two minutes later, I lost all of the lights on my dashboard. My PRNDL
lights worked for the one that I was using (park, drive, etc), but I had no backlight for
my fuel tank, speedometer, mileage, anything. My headlights also did not
automatically turn on, I had to use them manually. I've checked some of the fuses, but
the ones that I would think are attached to those features all look fine.
Any advice?

You have a short. Any time a fuse blows it indicates a short. I would start looking for a problem in the areas your fuse that blows apply to.
