2001 Oldsmobile demo derby car

Asked by demoderbyfam Sep 06, 2016 at 05:23 PM about the 2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue

Question type: General

I have a 2001 Oldsmobile intrigue, and I'm
trying to run it as a derby car. We always cut
the ignitions wires, and re-wire to a toggle
switch and running light. We can't figure out
what wrong with this car. We can't get it to
run. It won't even crank over. We have lights,
wipers, and door charm. Any ideas???

Because the anti-theft is now activated would be my guess. If you want to bypass or cut out ignition circuit you'll need an after market ECM stripped of anti-theft code.
