I have a 98 plymouth voyager, was driving on the freeway and loss acceleration. When I pulled over to side I tried turning it back on and it won't start, what could be the problem?

Anything from out of gas to a blown engine. Is the CEL on? Codes?

Got half a tank of gas, don't know if CEL is on. How do I tell?

Also oil light was on the whole trip but it has oil, would not stop beeping. The brain was replaced about 6 months or so. Other than that only thing I've had problems with is the belt slipping off because we put a bypass pulley and the guy didn't put the spacers.
