Subaru a/couple question

My 2014 Crosstrek's A/C fan has suddenly
begun to work only on 4 (High). Is there
anything I can check before heading to the
dealership?

it may or may not be the same, but most cars use a blower motor resistor setup and each setting goes through a specific resistor to only allow so much voltage to the fan. You might try asking rlouie on here for help or join and post.. but it sounds like that's what it is. And as one member mentioned, if it's still under warranty, I'd have them fix it (for free?) before I messed with it: http://www.subaruxvforum.com/forum/problems-maintenance- warranty/19138-fan-not-working-low-settings.html

A '12 Imp I have has a similar lost-speed flaw. Bought resistor pack but did NOT remedy! Might be the control switch itself? Keep in touch....
